WHAT EXAM BOARDS DO YOU WORK WITH?

All our GCSE and A-level courses are offered through OCR, AQA and EDEXCEL

WHAT'S YOUR PASS RATE?

We have achieved an average pass rate of 90% across our GCSE and A-level courses. Most of our tutors are examiners as well and are able to use their examining experience to teach examination techniques that has enabled unusually high success rate.

ARE YOU ACCREDDITED?

We are Ofsted registered.

WHAT TYPE OF TEACHERS/TUTORS DO YOU HAVE?

Our teachers/tutors are carefully selected based on subject expertise and knowledge. The are mainly examiners for the examination Boards in the UK, or sustain their own professional practices alongside their teaching. This gives them an exceptional depth of knowledge.

DO YOU PROVIDE STUDENT ACCOMMODATION?

Even though we do not have official halls of residence, we have a range of accommodation providers that we can recommend to students especially those from outside the Greater Manchester area.

WHAT IS THE LENGTH OF A GCSE COURSE AT YOUR CENTRE?

We offer GCSEs on a one year intensive programme. This should of course be limited to only 5 GCSE subjectsWHAT ARE THE GCSE / IGCSE PASS GRADES?

HOW MANY A LEVELS SHOULD I TAKE?

Students can offer three or four A-level subjects with us for the A-level programme. In the case of four A-levels, one of them can be dropped at the AS level.

DO YOU OFFER SCHOLARSHIPS?

Yes, we do at the discretion of the board at varying percentage. You can request for one and you would be informed if you are successful or not.

CAN I CHANGE A SUBJECT AFTER STARTING A CLASS?

Sometimes students realise that one of the subjects that they have initially chosen is not suitable for them. We offer a two-three week flexibility period at the start of term during which a student can change a subject (after a discussion with the College) if they feel another subject is more appropriate.

CAN WE GET EXTRA TUITION HELP?

Yes, we can make arrangements for this. This could be particularly helpful to students who for one reason or the other have missed out on classes during the school year.

HOW DO I GAIN ADMISSION?

We generally tend to use previous examination results to decide if we are going to enrol a student or not. In some cases, we might have to interview students to determine their eligibility. Students are supposed to apply first through the online form on the home page.

HOW MANY HOURS PER WEEK DO I EXPECT TO ATTEND CLASSES?

For the regular 2-year A-level and GCSE/IGCSE students, you should expect 2-3 hours per week of classes per subject while Intensive A-level students should expect 4-5 hours of classes per week per subject.

WHAT IS THE STUDENT- TUTOR RATIO?

Most of our class sessions are taught in small groups with an average size of 6 students to give personalized attention to students. As a tutorial college, we combine the experience of private tutoring with college class settings. Some classes end up having less than 6 students. In some extreme cases of very popular subjects, we might overshoot this with 1 or 2 students.

Over the years , our students have been placed at the prestigious IVY League and Russell Group universities in the UK.
